UVAC -(119km) is the longest tributary of the river Lim, rising under mountain Ozren. Because it is mountain river, it has great hydro energetic potential. Three artificial lakes are built on this river: Zlatar lake, Sjenica lake and Radoinja lake. One part of the Uvac canyon is protected as Special Nature Reserve Uvac because it is habitat of griffon vulture and special species of fish, especially Brook Trout, which is very rare in Europe.
ZLATAR LAKE - is artificial lake on the river Uvac. It is located on 880 meters above seal level. The lake is 21km long. It covers 7.25km2 and reaches a depth of 75m. Beside lake is main road Belgrade – Montenegro Coast. Considering that, this place has big perspective in swimming and nautical tourism and possibilities of building hoPhones and other tourist objects.
RADOINJA LAKE - the next downstream lake in the canyon of Uvac is on 810m above sea level. Maximum depth is 30m. Through system of tunnels and pipes, water from this lake goes to Potpec lake and it is used by Hydropower "Bistrica". Banks of this lake are great for camping.
SJENICA LAKE - is artificial lake, first and the biggest in the canyon of the river Uvac. It is located on 985.4 m above sea level, and it is the second highest artificial lake in Serbia, after Vlasina lake. It coveres 610km2, length of lake is 20km, and maximal depth is 100m. Sjenica lake, together with Zlatar and Radoinja lake are not touristy valorized. With some investments, these three lakes could have more tourist visits during year.
POTPECE LAKE - is artificial lake on the river Lim. It was built because of hydropower "Potpec". It is located on 435.6m above sea level. The lake has surface of 3.605km2, its length is 20km and maximum depth is 40m.The lake is not touristy valorized, although it has a distinct potential for development of transit tourism. By the dam of this lake runs the railway Belgrade-Bar and the highway Belgrade-Montenegro Coast.

SPECIAL NATURE RESERVE UVAC – IN UVAC CANYON
Special nature reserve Uvac in Uvac river caynon is habitat of very rare animal species and other natural values. It occupies the territory of 2717ha. Minimum altitude in the reserve is 902 m, and maximum1,276m. Symbol of the "Uvac" Nature Reserve is The Griffon Vulture. This is very rare bird also known as "sky king". Because of that, whole nature reserve is dedicate in saving this bird, who is still nesting only in Serbia.
